Josh Marshall and TPMmuckraker were pushing this federal prosecutor purge story for all it was worth while some in the mainstream media were skeptical. Jay Carney of TIME was one such skeptic. Today Carney gives Marshall and the blogosphere credit for being "the engine on the story, pulling the Hill and the MSM along."

That's nice to see.

Marshall called it classy.
